    Dear Fred and Steven—

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for a wonderful networking opportunity that your group provided for me, which yielded wonderful benefits for my agency. I work for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, a private non-profit here in town, and a new member of the Rainbow Chamber.  At your Christmas party last year I met another member, Andy Pischalnikoff, a photographer and owner of the small business Doctor Legacy.

Andy introduced himself to me at the party and when he found out what I did, said that he made an effort to volunteer with community service organization like ours. He gave me his card and told me to call if we ever needed a photographer for an event. In January I emailed Andy and asked if he'd be willing to come to a rally at the Capitol in February. Not only was he willing to come, he came for several hours and took many wonderful photographs of our staff, speakers and attendees. As a non-profit we can't afford to hire professional photographers for every event we hold, and to get such high quality photo services donated to us was a real gift. So thank you for giving me the chance to meet Andy. You should be proud that your organization attracts such civic-minded members.

    Sincerely,

    Camille Hayes

In order to benefit from any chamber, one needs to show one's face at the meetings and be consistant, and persistant. I encourage all who are not members to join today!

I want to acknowledge Steven Walker for his hard work on getting this website out. I joined the chamber last year (2006) and have had the privilege of meeting a lot of awesome people, both gay and gay supporting. I did not know many people in the Sacramento area. A side benefit is that I have come to call some of the members 'friend'! They have been there for me through thick and thin. Thank you, you know who you are!

I conduct my business by referral and have had the joy of refering clients to RCC Chamber members with the assurance that they are being taken care of in a professional manner, making me look good! I have also recieved referrals and done business with chamber members.
